Infranexus expands into student accommodation sector
Infranexus will manage a new asset after parent company IFM Investors entered into an agreement to acquire a 100% interest in the Curtin University Accommodation Project from InfraRed Capital Partners Ltd.
Infranexus, through Live-in Learning, will assume ongoing management of existing student accommodation as well as Curtin Exchange, a mixed-use precinct that includes student and private accommodation, a hotel, commercial space and retail facilities.
The concession with Curtin University runs to 2054.
This strategic initiative marks a significant expansion of Infranexus’ footprint in Western Australia, where we have successfully managed the Perth District Court concession since 2008. The project, which will be incorporated into IFM’s Australian Infrastructure Fund, achieves an important expansion for Infranexus into the student accommodation sector.
We are committed to maintaining the high standards of service currently in place and building upon the strong foundation established by the existing management team.
This project aligns strongly with Infranexus' purpose and vision while achieving an important expansion for the company into the student accommodation sector.
We look forward to continuing and strengthening the strong partnership with Curtin University by supporting tertiary education with a range of purpose-built student accommodation options.
